I LOVE that you had them watch Die Hard, lol! I really like how much you delve into these episode and how they impact Jack and Sam on an emotional level. Because as much as they're both professionals and a strong sense of responsibility, they're also still people. And those emotions must have been absolutely crippling at times.

So much angst, so much sadness and yet a feeling of hope in the end. Excellent story, thank you!

Wow! This was such a wonderful story. Full of angst but yet full of hope. I have such a love/ hate relationship with the hallmark chanbk Christmas movies. You could certainly go into a diabetes coma after watching several. Of them. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your story.

Every or almost all Shakespeare plays had a comic relief character, and in this it was Duke. I know Duke because I had a dog just like him when I was a child. This was a great story about how my favorite FF characters survived through 8 seasons of being more in love with SGC than being willing to give into love for each other.

Actually hard for me to imagine 'Die Hard' on the Hallmark channel as Christmas story of the year.

How sad for Sam. To understand there is no hope for a them. unless one of them leaves the military, or transfers. Things can't change unless they do. What is important to Sam, and what is she willing to do to get it.

Storybook endings only happen on the Hallmark channel.

Good story. Good expressions of their angst post ice world mission. Sam and Jack are spot on. I wanted them to give into their passions but then they wouldn't be our Sam and Jack. So, now I'll go read Bicycles after Dinner to get my fluff and passion fix. LOL!

Your descriptions enhance the scenes without bogging down the rest of the story or becoming cumbersome. Your dialogue is crisp without being excessive. You leave just enough to the reader's imagination...BUT...you always leave this reader wanting more! :) I wish you would write sg1 novels. :) Thanks for the story!
