Thank goodness Cicero made it out of there but its too bad he won't keep it — there's a chance to turn anything into a sweet roll after all — but then there's also summoning a storm atronach on the flip side of it so better not lol

I really like where Marcus is going with this, that's one way to get both parties together without joining the factions (I just wished the option was in the game T~T )

*does a happy Cicero dance* yes! they're getting married! and here's a heavy departure from the gamethe civil war. I'm not sure what your plans are but I'm really excited for the next part.

also, Cicero is growing on me. Not that I ever disliked himhe's endearing, in his own crazy way. I'm always anticipating when he's going to come in.

Delphine really grates on my nerves. Keen her mind may be, I still think she's unhinged. Years of running made her paranoid and blind to the future, latching on to old and dead ideals. The Blades are nothing in this age. First time this happened in game, I wanted to launch into an angry tirade. the sheer gall of her to talk and lord it over the Dragonborn whom the Blades were sworn to serve.

I didn't go through with that quest, I always left the Blades and I'm frustrated there's no other way to deal with it. Fortunately, there is a mod on the nexus tho, called the Paarthurnax Dilemma that gives you a third option. which basically threatens Delphine into submission. Its kind of funny, the Dragonborn ends up speaking in dragon tongue from sheer fury, that shook the very foundations of the temple.

still, Marcus handled it well (better than I would have, I'd still shout her off the mountain). Delphine certainly would be helpful to the cause but I still think she has a stick up her ass. At least Esbern is more sympathetic.

who knows, there might still be hope for her.

my thoughts on 33 tho, that was really thoughtful of Marcus to take his Alessan, Lars and Iona with him. quite right that Lars needed the boost in confidence and that Iona wasn't left alone. as for Alessan himself, it makes sense for his character to be so restless.

I can sympathize with Brynjolf, the Thieves Guild aren't necessarily full of bad people, only people shaped by their experience. Also, I really love it when Marcus gets crafty.

Laila I have no love for due to the treatment of her hold and her youngest (who really deserves better) but in comparison with Maven, the former really deserves the worst. I was grinning ear to ear. Beautifully ruined. Nice of you to connect Maven's summoning in her house as the hit on Laila.

the situation with Riften was frustrating in the game. all that power, all the titles in the game and you can't do anything to Maven. You do what you do best Marcus! You're not just a warrior, you're a diplomat too.

also, can I just say Marcurio is hilarious?

I wonder if Alessan with be joining the family anytime soon. I get that they were trying to put a lot of distance between themselves and the Thalmor, so it wouldn't be on Marcus' min but maybe he will and I just haven't reached that part yet xD

It makes me really happy that Marcus and Tamsyn have made up. As much as I like grand battles and glory, I enjoy scheming a lot more. what do you have in mind Marcus? I imagine since Skyrim, is a living, breathing world for them now, the options to handle the civil war have expanded.

it won't do me good to speculate anyways, as there's still more to the story that could give me answers so onwards!

Its sweet how Lydia and Argis hit it off. One of the things I like about this story is how mature the characters are, and I mean that in a lot of ways.

anyways, my favorite part in this is Tamsyn holding her ground like a boss. I may or may not have been cackling the entire time.

a parent's anguish isn't easy to take in and I'll admit I teared up a bit when Marcus got desperate. I'm glad they sorted it out but never, NEVER did I imagine what was going to happen with Cicero.

Damn I got chills, I also laughed out loud a bit at that part. That was so unexpected but really... I REALLY like where this is going.

As much as I love Marcus, yeah he deserved that from Akatosh. Still, his flaws are what make him so endearing, I think and I really like to see that in a character. He's honorable, but not a fool. tempered, but not ignorant. Also, what a quaint man Argis is. bet he didn't balk when he was introduced to Paarthurnax lol

i'm glad the you didn't linger too much in Blackreach *shuddersI guess everyone can agree we're all done with the place. Never again am I going to go through that bloody quest again.

and damn those Thalmor! I really hated that Elenwen was an essential npc so she couldn't be killed off. I get why but I still hate her guts. I hope the children are okayI hope those freaks don't do anything to them. and backup? Is this... reconciliation? *wiggles eyebrows*

I read this mostly on the app, unfortunately it still has some kinks to work out. So I accidentally swiped to the next chapter and without noticing it, I wrote my review on 25 rather than 26. Oh well.

Oh don't be so modest Tamsyn, Toldfir is right. I'm really happy she's the Arch Mage now. I can't think of anyone better (maybe J'zargo but I'm a sucker for cats)

:( Since there are more chapters still in this story, I do hope they reconcile (I'm still holding on that Marcus and Cicert would be friends)

I wasn't sure if I liked Savos in the quest line. There's a lot of stuff about him that I wasn't sure of but he's dead. May the souls of his friends find peace at least after this.

Cicero was in my top 5 favorite followers and so it makes me happy that Tamsyn has taken him under her wing of a sorts. Hope he and Marcus would be able to get along soon.

Ooohhh so while Marcus was handling some aspects of the game, Tamsyn went to deal with others that our Dragonborn surely would have a really hard time to get along with. Its amazing what you've thought out for the story. I'm also sensing some vibes, I smell a possible romance *wiggles eyebrows*
