Anon chapter 12 . 3/20/2016 This is delightful and a great take on several tropes. Always surprising. I wish you'd write more in HP verse. |
queen.leaf chapter 12 . 5/17/2015 What a wonderful story. I was pulled so emotionally into each of their stories. I love the twist on A Christmas Carol and all the interactions between characters. This will be a story I come back to on another rainy day. Thank you for writing and sharing this story. |
Sioned136 chapter 11 . 2/21/2015 With all the emotions running around and beautifully captured, the romance between HG and DM felt a little disingenuous and fell flat for me. I know you were trying to prime the audience offering little clues - Draco being the last one to talk to her, the sickness, etc, but I think these fell into the background with the other flirtatious moments with SS and LM. That you had to stage the dance where they finally really looked at each other and went AH-HA felt a bit rushed. As if you were just trying to wrap up what otherwise a beautiful tale into a neat character driven bow. The aspects of romance that did feel true- LM's longing for Narcissa. The way that he wanted to stay to see her again in his memories, the conversation between him and Snape. The moment when Snape consoles Lucius and references Lily - beautiful in it's delicate reminder of a pain so vast. These touches of affection - these all consuming briefest of moments were missing with your pair. Yes- they were young and just started their interests, but I never got the sense that Draco's flirtation was more than a tension release. It came across as a defense against Dumbledore and the situation more than an actual desire. If that makes sense Also, the chains with the stylized icons - a great touch. Please do not think that I did not enjoy your story, I did, but I feel that you can do more with your next pairing. Two cents. Take care and write more please! |

HallowRain8587 chapter 12 . 1/7/2015 A wonderful Christmas story. Now you have left a cliffhanger in the Epilogue than can only mean that there is another story in the works. |

Dragon'sHost chapter 12 . 1/6/2015 I'm so sorry to see it end, though I like how it did. I really, really want to see what Dumbledore and Harry go through, though. Is there going to be another one? And if there is, at least Harry won't have Slytherins groping him during it. Once again, this is a wonderful story. |
Kassandra Khaos chapter 12 . 1/6/2015 I just pmed you about how quickly you update and sure enough another chapter. The last one I assume. I hope one day you play with Harry's past. This was so kawaii! Kassi |
