Great story and it makes loads of sense too as to why Eileen never left her husband :)

This is sweet. I think Tobias is really in character here. I think Eileen less so because all the hints we got from her in canon made it clear she was not outgoing, nor friendly. But of course, this version is more likeable.

A powerful ending to a realistic story. You got it right. I would happily accept this as Canon.

I'm guessing that Tobias never wanted children and felt that Eileen had trapped him when she got pregnant (Takes two tango, dude). Poor Eileen though. Love cannot excuse abuse.
