Nana56 chapter 1 . 1/20/2015 I'm in complete sympathy with Dean. I climbed a tree with my cousins one time as a kid and couldn't get down. My cousin had to go get my uncle. Don't remember how he got me down, but I do remember not falling, but standing on the ground. :D Thanks for bringing back a memory. Well done. :) |
1983Sarah chapter 1 . 1/14/2015 I wouldn't be caught up there at all, too high! Dean conquered his fear, good for him! |
Swellison chapter 1 . 1/11/2015 Love the title, alliterative and it resembles the "Bones" titles, if you're familiar with that show. Poor Dean and his trembling jello limbs, I can *so* relate to that - it reminds when I got nervous on the high dive one summer years ago. I had to wait until I stopped shaking, so I could walk out onto the edge of the board and jump-no other option, because I couldn't climb backwards down the diving board's ladder. I never got on the high dive again after that, but I'm sure Dean's made of sterner stuff and he'll hunt more dryads. I also kind of think he might take a swing at Sam, too when he's back on solid ground-unless Sam is going to help him reconnect with the ground. Would love to see this fleshed out as a longer story, or another drabble explaining how the hunt ended;-) |
dreamlitnight chapter 1 . 1/11/2015 More?! Beautiful little gem of a story. |
akaStoryteller chapter 1 . 1/11/2015 LOVE this one! I really like the idea of Dean with vertigo. |
emebalia chapter 1 . 1/11/2015 Now I'm picturing Dean clinging to the tree, two meters above the ground. In the end Sam just grabs him at the neck and plucks him off ... |
MeAzrael chapter 1 . 1/11/2015 Oh - I'm sure it's not as if Dean couldn't climb - it's probably just the dryad holding him tight in her arms ;-) Go and give them some time alone, Sammy! xx Kate |
