That was a very cute story! I love storys about young Ninja Turtles! You did pretty good in how you told the story. I LOVED IT!

This story is very well written, great characterization, great storyline, a very nice tot piece. I especially enjoyed Splinters POV and that he didn't handle everything perfectly. Well done.

I love Splinter so much. He is so hilarious. XD Oh my goodness! I was laughing so hard! It really would be absolutely terrifying to be caught by your dad like that! He just jumps out of nowhere and screams at you!

Oh, this was simply adorable! :) I loved the look into Splinter's thoughts and how he deals with raising four boys alone. You handled everyone beautifully, and it was just a really cute look into their lives as a family.

AWESOME JOB! :D :D You are a GREAT writer! :D I loooove the detail in the story, how it paints the images for us readers to see, and the emotion, how we can put faces to the feelings. But most of all, the plot was spectacular! You've put life experiences into this story, it created a real life feel to it. How Splinter thinks he's a bad parent, a feeling that all parents feel every now and then. The realization of being bad or not, that his children will love him no matter what. The characters where so...in character, it was amazing to read! :D

I knew I was gonna like this oneshot! Just reading the synopsis piqued my interest, since I’ve always imagined the turtles daring each other to do the most ridiculous and dangerous things as kids. But the one I really, really liked in this story was Splinter. I started giggling when I realized what he was going to do to the turtles in the dojo, and then I burst out laughing when he released that immense fake rage on them.

And it makes sense to me that Splinter has these thoughts and doubts of whether he was being a good parent or not. It’s a bit of a turn-around to go from a father of a baby girl to father of four boys. XD I think I’ve said it before, but I love the way you write Splinter. You really capture the lingering angst from his old life with Tang Shen, and you incorporate that beautifully into the Splinter we see here, trying to raise a new family with that kind of past.

But my favorite part was in the end, with that intimidating scowl and the line “I dare you NOT to go to bed.” That was so spot on Splinter and true to the show that it feels like I’ve seen that actual scene. XD Good job with this!
