I love that Usagi made Lois Sailor Mars. I also liked how Clark wanted to hit Mamoru and got kind of protective of Usagi. Kind of anxious to see if a new Sailor Mercury or Sailor Jupiter shows up. And would love to see how the former Scouts react to the new Mars. Great update.

And Lois probably isn’t going to have to do as much work as most people would think, considering that (in most modern depictions nowadays) her father, retired former General Sam Lane, had both of his daughters (Lois in her current life has a younger sister named Lucy, I imagine that in this universe that Lois would think she was an improvement over the one in her previous life) trained in both hand to hand and firearms as a means of self defense, since Sam had made a lot of enemies over the course of his military career, although it seems that Lucy decided to go into the military because of this due to wanting to gain their father’s favor (She rightfully doesn’t blame Lois for this, but their parents for playing favorites, something that I’m guessing played a part in Lois’s gradual estrangement with her father, with it being exacerbated by greatly disagreeing on the subject of Superman, of whom Sam does not like at all. He doesn’t like Clark Kent either when Lois and Clark start dating. Doesn’t get any better after they get married in the comics. And Sam about blows his top in the comics when Lois has no choice but to reveal that Clark is Superman to him recently due to the fact that Lois and Clark’s son Jon, Sam’s grandson, went from a ten year old to a seventeen year old in the span of a few weeks on Earth due to a stint in space. Awkward.).

So Lois is probably already more prepared then most of the other senshi were to assume the mantle of a sailor senshi in this lifetime. At least in terms of hand to hand combat capabilities. She’s probably gonna have to focus on practicing with her fire magic and divination though.

Speaking of magic, I’m guessing that fire divination (speaking of which, did you know that the Hikawa shrine in Juuban is probably one of the MANY branch shrines of the main Hikawa shrine in Saitama, which primarily worships Susanoo ,a god of storms, and his wife a goddess of rice, along with their son, a god of magic and spirits? After finding that out, it’s confused me why the heck a shrine associated with storms has a sacred bonfire for divination instead of something more storm related, even if the majority of shrines, be they Shinto or Buddhist, in Japan do have small braziers for rituals.) is something that Martians, more specifically those of the Martian royal family, are known to be gifted in?

I wonder if Lois might ask Clark if he’d be willing to clear out a room in the Fortress of Solitude for her to do fire readings (in the original Martian style instead of the Shinto version that Rei used)? Since it’s not exactly like she could use her own apartment to do that.

And I imagine that J’onn will probably be overjoyed to see that L’oiz reincarnated, even if he had possibly already suspected it due to possibly have seen pictures of the famous Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane.

Wow! Great idea giving a DC character Sailor powers! Can’t wait to read about the confrontation between Lois and Rei!
