D'awww, I loved it! Al being so perceptive, I'm sure he can see the similarities between the two, probably connected the dots long before Roy. :) Lovely, I love the grudgingly familial relationship those three have. I mean, mostly Ed and Roy, but still!

Ed glossed over it, but I'm fairly sure that being dragged down by prosthetic limbs while struggling to breathe at the bottom of a lake is fairly traumatic stuff.

Love the descriptive language as to how Fullmetal is alike to a flame. Perhaps an annoyed eyebrow twitch at being called Colonel Bastard would be good, but other than that great job!

Lol I read your last author note pleading to leave a review and have written some of my own stories and knowing the joy of reviews, I couldn't help but comply. This was a well thought out story and I really enjoyed reading it! I would have never had the imagination of comparing ed to a flame since Roy is usually the one with the flames. I must admit, I can't believe how you came up with so many different characyerixs of flames for ed, its truly amazing. Keep writing, you're really good at it and I can't wait to read more, :)

Cool little oneshot you got here. The characters were in character and it was well written. I like the concept, too. You could kind of contunue this into a series of oneshots that explore the other kinds of 'fire'. And I love me some Parental!RoyEd so I'm all for it. But it's your decision and I know how hard it is to write so don't think that I'me asking you to continue. I just think it would be cool.
