A very lovely story. I loved every bit of it. This was such a touching and and it looks like there's more to read. (Two more stories, in fact. :3) I enjoyed the nod to different characters within the original 2013 universe and how you mirrored some scenes with appropriate twists that suited the dynamics of your universe. Looks like there is still a long way to go to get Leo to open up to his brothers but you can really feel the warmth between the four. Yay!

I just love how Raphael doesn't want to be called Raphie and chases Mikey hahahhha. But, I remember that in 1x18 "The Shredder Strikes Back Part Two" Donnie calling him Raphie, like "Raphie we have trouble down here" and he replied, "Yeah, like I don't have a handful here" or something like that (quoting them on pure luck with my memory). He didn't say anything when Don said the nickname... Don't know, maybe they were in the heat of the fight and he couldn't say anything. Or maybe it's because Mikey is a little annoying at times, which makes him more lovable than ever. I think that the family wouldn't be the same if one of the family is missing.
I always had the idea that Raph is a softie and I loved when he really showed his emotions, this goodbye with Trax being one of them. Darn, that triceraton was really a friend to the turtles in the 2003 series. I like very much when he said to Leo that he reminded him how to fight with honor. And it's strange that he made first contact with Leo, but Raph soon became his best friend of sorts.
I'm enjoying while I re-read my fave parts.

I am taking a pause in my reading of this delightful story because I have to make a comment of how much I laughed at your nod to the hats of the Foot Elite. "The Shredder Strikes Back" episodes are some of my favorites of the series. I'm getting all giddy about the boys finally getting a hold of Leo. Time to find out what happens! Back to reading!

I know all of the "Big Brawl" episodes well. I loved how the story line went there, and especially the part where Leo woke up in the healer's pavilion and defended Usagi, and brought Donnie's bo with him, because Donnie lost it before in the battle, with the disgraceful ninja that were trying to kill the Daimyo. And it was so funny watching Raph and Mikey compete against each other, and Mikey actually beating Raph, the Hothead hehe.
I loved the interaction between Raph and Mike here in the chapter. I would imagine Mikey talking with Raph like this if they haven't seen each other before. Like he did with Leo. And Trax's been a great help to Raph. he knows him very well and he knows that the actual anger Raph has can be released just in a combat. Preferably one on one.
The favorite part of this chapter is when it says "Red and Orange stared at each other in shock". That was awesome. I guess if I had some family member, a brother that looked like me, I would faint, lol ;)

Have I said how much I hate the Shredder. What kind of being doesn't love his son even if he is a mutant turtle? I mean he is not even human, but still. He looks like he cares for Leonardo, but all he does is to humiliate him, and ground him the every chance he gets. And that's because he has all those secrets to keep from them. And the way he is defiant and heads against his orders sometimes, well it reminds me of Raph. Although Leo is far more calm than Raph. But, he could easily get angry too.

And Raph is Raph like always. I'm so sorry that they had to be separated the way they were and I understand that Raph got his fair share in the world that wasn't his, and with people (okay dinosaurs) that didn't want him as theirs, e.g. with dinosaurs that accepted him, but not completely. He felt alone. Poor Raphie.

I would never figure Mikey to be the one that would remain with Splinter and I can imagine him trying to teach Mikey something. He can hold his attention to something as long as there is something to eat right beside it. But, I believe that the guy can focus to his fights and use his continued talking skills to distract his opponent like he did with Leo. It was a nice aspect that he came up with the idea that they could be brothers.
Favorite part from this chapter was definitely the encounter of Leo and Mikey. Awesome

I would love to own them too, hehe, but no one gives us the ownership.
And now like I said, it may actually take time but I plan to comment my favorite parts from the chapters of the trilogy and that's what I'm going to do.
I love when Leo comes out of the shadows. You know he is there, but you cannot see him which adds a little extra angst in the process. You are afraid to even look in his direction, because you are afraid of what you will encounter in his eyes. Priceless and perfect. I bet Hun shit his pants :)

I just want to land some air taking blow to Saki and tell him where he belongs. My heart hurt for Leonardo.
And I think that he would gave gotten all the answers he wanted to if he just listened to Mikey and Raph. But Leo is damn stubborn just like Raph and even more. I really want to know wgat will happen in the next chapters. And I'm so excited that there are sequels. I enjoy this. Great fic. Who's your fav turtle. Mine's Leo. It's obvious I think hehe. And you know I think that after Leo I'm the most focused person. But I have finals coming up and I would love to get his help if he wanted.
Too much ranting, but I'm loving this!

Awesome start to this. It's interesting that Leo is with the Foot Clan, but I like the idea of it and what could come of it. It looks like Hun is very jealous of Leo and that doesn't sound good. Nicely done on this.
