Squee! So I really enjoyed this chapter and its events. How adorable that Toga wanted to meet Inuyasha, and that he wanted to give him a hug! You just can't put a price on that kind of family moment.

I have a feeling, however, that for as heartfelt as both the father and son are, there's probably going to be misunderstandings between them. I mean, they've got centuries to make up for, and just one meeting isn't enough to really "learn" the other person! My guess is Toga would probably be a bit overprotective of Inuyasha, and Inuyasha would get irritated with it. I dunno; these are just thoughts.

The whole "Takahashi is a CEO" is kind of a cliché, but it's actually a pretty accurate translation from his previous job as a ruler to the overseer of a corporate empire. A modern political position (say, a prime minister or a president) would mean that he's just a figurehead, because he doesn't command troops, and his influence is limited by the people. But a modern corporate empire? Those things can be global and can amass serious power and influence in the government, in social media, in people's daily lives, and they don't answer to half as many people as politicians do. It's almost a form of world conquest. Just look at Coca Cola or McDonald's, haha. O_o; So yeah, business CEO is a cliché, but I think if you played your cards right, you could "make it new," in which Toga is quite the powerful figure slowly taking over the world with awesomeness. (By the way, what kind of business is it? Adding some more detail here would make it less of a cliché.)

I'm excited to see Izayoi appear in future chapters! Gah, Toga and Izayoi sound so adorable together. I'd be interested in seeing Inuyasha and Kagome's reactions to them. And Sesshomaru! What does he think of all of this?!

I really enjoyed this second chapters and how Kagome and Toga interact. Trust me, it doesn't come off as romantic in any way; just very entertaining! I think they could definitely be good friends out of this.

I like it so far! Like you I don't really read Inupapa/Kagome pairings so I can't tell you if resembles another but I've never heard of Inu no Taisho in the modern era unless it was alternate universe so you should be safe. I can't wait for the next chapter although I have a few questions. How often will we actually see Kagome in this story? Will the story focus solely on Toga and Izayoi or will there be side pairings? Will Kagome be paired with anyone? Can it be Sesshomaru? Will the boys get to meet their modern father? Who is Izayoi's reincarnation and what will she be like? Does Kagome know her? How is Toga going to react to Kagome's story? Will we get to see the final battle play out and what part will Toga have in it? Okay, no more questions, I'm sorry.
