This was so lovely. Absolutely in character. I could see it play out in front of me without even having to try. I loved that line "He had the comic brilliance of the Queen's Speech" Made me laugh. Glad your comic brilliance is clearly superior to our favorite detective's. I really enjoyed this and so well written too. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry you're not sorry, right? Haha, I regret nothing! This was fantastic - the dialogue was perfect, and so was Hardy's internal monologue. Ellie's such a funny mix of chipper/friendly and irritable as f*ck and you got it down exactly. Poor, forgettable Ian, lol! Anyway, thanks for dragging me into Broadchurch! :)

Awww. Haha, I love how everyone's hungover and Ellie has to explain it to him and tells him she married Joe only because he makes a good hangover cure. And then he makes her tea and she brings him some. So cute. I wish we had gotten more scenes like this in S1 before everything happened to Ellie.
