Quite an enjoyable read, especially the parts involving Neo's interactions with others or their reactions to the newest display of her "unique" personality. The development of the other characters relationships is also quite interesting, as is their mental and emotional growth in the different environment you put them in.
The one thing that there is a little too much of is the lengthy descriptions of the fights, the action in there is a bit over the top and they sound too much like something out of a video game. At least this is how I see it. Still it makes me look forward to the next arc even more since your plan seems to include all of what I find enjoyable and less of what bothered me. I hope that the resident ice-cream themed bundle of insanity and fun will find her way to appear on that new mission and make things more colorful ;)

I could have done with out this chapter. It only caused everything to take a really dark turn. I was hoping for some Cinder Ruby bonding.

ah and here I thought they wouldn't be going to beacon. Very nice chapter and I cant wait until ruby finalizes her weapon. I am curious what it will be. Will it still be crescent rose but just with a twist Like ember electrica, or something else entirely? Cant wait for the next chapter.

Do you think the point you made about Yang's semblance being sentient will come into play when Ironwood interrogates team MMRY?

It would be surprising if Ironwood thinks that Yang is one of the Four Maidens or is connected to the Grimm in some way.

You know this and Derelicts in Black are two RWBY stories I think would make for an interesting reading story if done right. Seeing how the original characters would react to how vastly different everything is for some of them from their lives, to their personalities, and even just the teams themselves. I just think it would be interesting to see how'd they react.

In all my life of reading RWBY AU fanfics, this is certainly one of the most interesting comics I have read thus far. The storyline is interesting and feels like it remains loyal to the RWBY series while it differs from the Main Canon, in the sense that the characters personalities (with some minor changes) remain the same while creating a whole new background and story. Speaking of characters, you have managed to make the characters in RWBY feel much more likeable and worth sympathy , in the sense that you blur the line between good and evil in your characters, and rather than having a 'good-guys vs bad-guys story', with characters belonging to a certain 'side', you make each character feel unique, without any true to side to be on. For example, while Cinder is still a villian and a manipulative person who craves power, your portrayal of her, along with some of her character interactions and backstory makes her feel as more of a tragic-villain with a sad past that drove her become who she is today, and has personally made me feel more sympathetic towards her. Ruby and Yang's character development is also interesting to read about, with the development of Yang's semblance and weapons and each of the two characters interactions and relationships. Overall, I look forward to reading more of this storyline. Keep up the good work.
