I like you turned team 4 in a good, estable team, but not a hypercompetent one.

My only issue is that I feel Naruto it's left behind in terms of development, it's obvious because we readers all know what he wants and does. But maybe adding some extra to his background would be good.

Overall you're doing an excellent job. Hope to see you continuing this work.

Just found this story and I love it! Its got a good take on how to chamhe up the teams that makes sense and fills out the world with more clans and npcs.

This was a great chapter! The sparrow reference at the bottom was very cute. I also liked how you established some conflict, but can draw it out and realize it in a realistic way, by pushing that shit off til later! can't wait for an update!

Normally I'm not a fan of OCs but these are done right. Very enjoyable fic.

Seems a little mixed up or I'm missing something here. First you say Sakura beat Shou by one point, then you say Shou was the top female student. Since Sakura is female and has the highest score how could Shou be the top student?

A small change can have a big impact and I'm quite curious how Suzuki Shou's life will be saved by waking his daughter up and making sure she's getting a real chance.

Your OCs are so easy to like. They're all well rounded people even after only a few chapters. :) I was curious at first why Naruto would be moved off Kakashi's team. But I think I've figured it out. Sasuke had to stay with Kakashi, and the Sandaime needed an excuse to pass a 4th team.

But then you brought up the possibility that Kakashi would really fail his team this time. I laughed. So, the universe is self-correcting and only 3 teams will pass after all? I really hope that's true, because this version of Team 7 failing would be hilarious justice.

I like this. It's an approach I have not seen before. Also, reminds me of issues we currently have with post secondary education; deserving students being passed over in favor of legacies and minorities - regardless of who scored lower.

As in the Star Trek reference, Kobayashi Maru, about the unwinnable situation?

With the foreshadowing about the Kill-All-Genins plot, about Setsuna's dad saving himself by ensuring she gets to pass the exams, and that town Kawamura?

I really am glad I took the time to read the story twice. It helped my reading comprehension immensely!

Kawamura? I'm going to have to watch out for this place later in the story.
