Well written.

Thank you for doing this, as an avid reader of a few of your previous stories I was way too pleased when this came up. I haven't actually reviewed any of your previous stories either due to me only making this account today. But anyway, thank you for writing this, you captured the style of Pratchett amazingly and it's a fantastic way to say goodbye to one of the best fantasy writers ever. Thanks again and I shall be keeping up to date with your continued stories. :P

I thought I'd stopped crying - but this started me off again. Lovely. A fitting tribute to a lovely author.
Story Weaver1 chapter 1 . 3/15/2015
I've only read one book (so far) and it was Small Gods. I also watched the film adaption of Going Postal. I feel this is a fitting tribute.
GreatOverseer chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
Thank you for writing this, it made my day, absolutely.
I'm a huge Terry Pratchett fan; my writing has been so influenced by them that, were it not for borrowing a Discworld book from a friend five years ago I'd basically be sitting around writing badly spelled Harry Potter fanfictions. Terry was one of my all-time favorite people, and this is a really touching tribute.
That makes two (technically three if you count Frank Herbert) of my greatest influences who are now dead: Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. But Terry was the one who most swayed me not just in the way I do my writing, but in my way of life. I was taught by his books to be pragmatic, to get things done fast and right, but also to enjoy a healthy optimistic outlook on everything. And of course I picked up that witty barb of sarcasm. :)

Lovely. I'm in mourning today, as are so many of us. He will be (is, already, to be honest) missed.
Monica Honda chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
GNU Terry Pratchett
You will be missed...
Homesweethaunt chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
The nicest of tributes.. thank you.
Alex Warlorn chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
I did not know the man. I did not like his books nor his views. But as a story teller, a man of wit, and crafting solid characters, he has nothing but my admirations. And I know he will be missed by his fans and feel their sorrow there will nothing new from him.
Shaman Psyker chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
It was only recently that I even knew who Sir Terry Pratchet was. I haven't read any of his books yet but I did see that animated adaptation of soul music. Though the animation was lacking in quality I did enjoy the story and his protrail of death. An entity that does not relish in the death of living things and gleefully drags them to what ever fate awaits them of the other side. But as a natural occurance that takes his job as a psychopomp seriously. Unwilling to give more time not out of cruelty but because it is the way it must be. I'm an atheist so I don't really but in to the concept of an afterlife, but I wish the best for Sir terry pratchet wheather it's non existence of something else.
Yamimaru chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
Oh gods, Terry Pratchett is dead? First Month Oum, then Leonard Nimoy, and now Pratchett?
