I've been putting off the reading of this chapter because I knew how painful it would be since I'd love to have Remus as my godfather. Ginny's words at the end of the chapter were so touching. Remus's hesitation to accept their request was really in character for him.

Sweet story. Of course Remus would hesitate and have to be convinced. I Think your description of the extended Weasley/Potter family was spot on. lol

I did enjoy this! Firstly the whole idea, which is a lovely remake on the canon Harry/Teddy godparent theme in DH; and then all the little details. Teddy's yellow hair, the lion door knocker, Molly on a sofa reading picture books...
As ever, splendid characterisation and oh, I wish I could go to a big Weasley party...!

Aw! So much happy! :) I don't think Remus would be quite as unready to take on the role of godfather, though. It's been 10 years, after all, and while he might hesitate, he wouldn't (surely he wouldn't - right?) be against it enough to say anything. (I'm in denial that he would ever say anything like that again. Y'know, once for all kind of a thing.) I do love this thread. :) Also, I believe that he would be known as Moony to the new generation, just for old times' sake. Love Thaddeus too, by the way. :)

I loved this! Actually loved it! I think I've read it three times! I think its such an adorable piece, so much happiness in it!
I love the hubbub of the Weasley children! I think that's exactly how they would have been! Percy's pompousness was perfect.
And Remus... Oh, Remus, being all insecure! That was so gorgeous and typical. Tonks' silent support was so sweet. I loved how Ginny told Remus how much he meant to her as a professor. It was such a lovely moment.
Lily Luna will be the most treasured god-daughter ever!
