Lovely story! Such a unique concept as to how/why they get to the other world and I love the previous relationship w/ Flamel/ how he was pretty much just a stupid kid instead of some all-powerful wizard! I adore your world-building and characterization and I can't wait to see how they explore magic w/ SCIENCE! I'm very excited and you'd better believe I can't wait to see what happens next! Kudos to you for being such an amazing writer!

I have a theory on why Alphonse is a squib and why Ed can't use his right hand. In the show, when Ed and Al attempted human transmutation, Ed lost his left leg and Alphonse lost his body to the Gate. However, Ed gave up his right arm for Al's soul to be attached to a suit of armor, thus making Ed get automail. In the end of the show, Al gave up his soul for Ed's right arm and Ed gave up his alchemy for Al's body. This is my theory: whatever is taken by the Gate, cannot do magic, whether or not it was given back. It also explains what the ghosts gave up as well. The ghosts gave up their magic to the Gate so they could wander the halls of Hogwarts instead of moving on into the next life! Am I right or am I right? I got this theory the second Ed received the second wand which did not do anything.

This is such a great story but a little reminder for FMA fans:

At the time where FMA takes place(1914), Ed's fashion style was outlandish and terrible. However, today his style would be old and Ed would be considered "lost in the past" for his choice in clothes. What I am trying to say is that Ed's style rocks for his personality! Ed stands out no matter what he is wearing (which is honestly what I think he tries to achieve)! Besides, it gives him the badass look that goes well with his little brother's armor(poor Alphonse DX ), as well as intimidating. That's all! I love this story so much I just crave it! Keep up the great work!

I'm actually getting emotional because holy crap it's been getting harder and harder to find stories that I can get into 100%. Not only did you put a unique spin on the concept of a Harry Potter/FMA cross-over, but you also did worldbuilding AND covered plot holes? It's like you're after my own heart here! In all seriousness, I hope this story continues because WOW!

What if death is the epilogue of life

To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure...

I believe this means that to a mind that is satisfied with what it has learned, death is no longer a burden, but something to move forwards in. If you have learned all there is to know among the living and cannot make any more contributions yourself, then why not move on into beyond, the next adventure in the never ending search for knowledge?

How in the world did you write in such sheer volume that you did and not make it sound forced? Such raw talent and skill takes years to hone and it looks so effortless...

I absolutely loved this story, you're a wonderful and compelling writer. I almost binge read it despite how long this is, but I regret nothing. Hopefully one day you will come back and finish it, which is why I'm adding it to story alert, my favs, and my C2.
