Really great job with this one. This was a nice look at the various emotions brought to the surface for this situation, letting the characters examine it and understand it well as both soldiers and friends.

Oh, how beautifully observed is this! I adore Treville and there are nowhere near enough stories about him. This one hits the mark perfectly. You have caught his unerring sense of honesty and humility, and the heartfelt desire to adhere to the truth no matter how painful. I can only think that the burdens this Captain of Men carries are painful and difficult ones, especially the secrets he has been bound to keep. Such a wonderfully rounded character, and you have caught him magnificently. Thank you.
