I think this chapter highlights the angst of this series and how it goes too far all too well. On their own none of the concepts or attributes you’ve employed in regards to Thierry are bad - but when you take all of them and push them into a single character it feels WAY too on the nose. “Woe is Thierry, he’s as pure as an angel if not for his past”... it’s too much middle school angst in one character for my tastes.

A detail you appear to have overlooked is how consistent you are with names. While not every character will call someone by the same name and the situation may require the use of specific name, the same character can be seen using different names for no apparent reason. The largest example being within this chapter when Pierr begins training Kiba. You state her location with the name Kiba, and you begin to describe her thought process with the name Kiba, but quickly shift to Yumi in the following paragraph and back to Kiba within that same paragraph for no reason, which somewhat disrupts the 'reading flow' as I'm left searching for a reason for the switches, only to find none. This is shown several throughout this scene, not only within the setting but within the dialogue and while it's not like a driving into a brick wallvery jarring, to say the leastit's more akin to driving over potholes that appear out of no where, a bumpy ride mixed with a healthy dose of confusion. Continuing the topic of names, a backstory for Pierr's titles (Jackal and Shinigami) would also flesh out his character, as otherwise you're doing the equavilent of asking someone to call you by a nickname you made up on the spot and justifying your decision with "It sounded cool".

You ok there bud? It's been almost a year. Hope college is going well for you and I know life can trip you up. Great story by the way. I love what you did with it and I like how even if it is a harem you had Quality over Quantity. Hope you come back and finish this up!
