You've made me fall in love all over again with Angelic Layer and with Oujirou - in fact, I don't think I've ever liked him more, the cute little kid with a streak of steel. *pets Ouji-sama* It occurs to me that his manners and sweet disposition are due in large part to his wonderful mother. Wow, you've spent time doing your research. :) You're amazing, you know that? Those were really cool matches - and I love how analytical Oujirou is, even if he -is- a little cocksure. It's unbelievable that he's so young though. Is it thirteen, fourteen? Yet, he's easily got more self-control and is more perceptive and self-aware than most people twice his age. I don't understand how someone as attention-shy as he is can handle this sudden spotlight on him, but he's able to push his discomfort aside and drive on towards his goal without letting the attention get to him.

...AND he's handsome and sweet and so goddamn chivalrous he could've come straight out of a Victorian romance novel. I watched Angelic Layer ages ago, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't quite THAT awesome in canon. Or was he? XD

This is brilliant. Just, purely, hands-down brilliant. As if I didn't like Oujirou enough as it is; now you're making him even more fairytale heroic.

This is such a great story,it's a shame it was left unfinished. If you ever start writing it again I'll be glad to read more of it.

I still remember when this fic came out about 5 years ago, but I was too shy to leave a review. The only reason I ever read an Angelic Layer fiction was because you had written it, and I loved Alter Egos. I hadn't seen the anime at the time, so I had no clue who anyone was, just a vague notion of what this anime was about (CLAMP is indeed Queen). Every year or so I come back to read this, even though it's not finished, and will most likely never be finished. Regardless, it's a great read, and thank you for writing such excellent stories (all of them).
