You've certainly set up for a sequel here, but I feel it rounds off well enough to stay on its own, if you decided to do that :)
Also I'm gonna personally fight anyone and everyone who upsets Merlin I stg

What can I say except that I've loved this story?! You have a way with words and for creating a captivating story. I couldn't stop reading until the end (which ends with the idea of a possible sequel? I'll wait for it if you do ) Keep up the great work!

i appreciate the reaction of the people of camelot, more so than if they'd all cheered and welcomed him with open arms. uncertainty and trepidation are much more reasonable, given the givens. it would take time - so, good thing merlin is patient! i also approve of the compromise with his clothing - it's one thing for gwen to look the part of the queen all the time, but it's not the same for merlin...

but, what's with ending the story on cliffies for both kingdoms?...

as much as i enjoy arthur/merlin banter, i also like when they can calm down and grow up a little and actually say what they're thinking and feeling. :) also the way they can sometimes communicate without words, and know what each other is thinking.

(fishlegs trying to translate curses. lol. i can see the other protesting that that's the most important part, he /has/ to translate that...)
(also, i think arthur's spontaneous speeches are the best.)

i like arthur realizing just how much merlin panics on the inside when he's injured, before merlin knows the extent of the wound - that was nicely written. and the off-the-cuff rainstorm. ;)

i'm all right with morgana disappearing. that seems more in character than, falling from a great height would kill her.

i imagine toothless would be pretty panicky, being inside a stone castle while it's being shaken apart by magic... poor dragon baby, having to go up tower steps and squeeze out trapdoors!

also, i feel sorry for poor aithusa - no chance can she take a night fury, much less all the berk dragons!... (the 'air force' - ;D)

kilgarrah caught mordred, but not merlin... hm, interesting...
but, i love the image of hiccup dive-bombing morgana (more or less) off toothless' back!
