Beyond creepy that a middle aged man with little to no connection to Mai is so invested in her future. Why can’t the other adults see that? Loving the story 3

The plot is really interesting, but there’s a giant loophole. Why didn’t she just move out of her apartment to begin with? Wouldn’t her problem have been solved? There’s no way her landlord would have enough jurisdiction to force her to marry or go back to the orphanage if she just left the apartment. Her moving in with Naru and Lin would’ve fixed everything and she wouldn’t have had to get married. Also, she could’ve asked Takigawa and Ayako to adopt her. They would still allow her to be independent but give her the home and comfort that family provides, whereas she’s just alone in an apartment now. other than these issues I really like the story, please keep it up.I’m really happy to have stumbled upon another LinxMai fic. I know that they find out later about the case that they need to get rid of some ghosts or something, but I really have to make this statement. Naru wouldn't accept the case right of the bat of a missing child. They would have to give him more details about what was going on in order for him to be interested in it and take it. He'd probably tell them that he would leave the missing child to the police. I know it's cold and harsh but that's Naru, unless he knew in the very beginning that there were ghosts involved and it was really really bad then he'd accept the case. But he wouldn't accept it with the only info of a child going missing. The child could have ran away or kidnapped. He deals with ghosts not missing child cases. I'm sorry if this offends anyone but it really is the truth. But I really do love your story. It's just amazing. however, I think the writer can maybe benefit from this information about Naru in future books. The book is amazing and I hope the writer continues to do such an amazing job.
