A Mary-Sue warning would have been nice... so I didn't waste my time with this. Why can't Mary-Sue writers realize that no one wants to read about their crappy self-insert characters?

Ugh, Snape is handing this so badly... You can't just tell someone not to self Harry and try to prevent them. You need to provide them with alternative coping mechanisms. I don't even work in mental health and I know that.

It might have been hard to write, but you did a great job. Honestly, this series of chapters/story line is my favourite on this site. Lupin is my favourite professor, and I really hadn't even considered him and Sirius, but I love it.

I like that you didn't start with a climax - a clear hook yes, but you have a story arc, and I am digging it. Thanks for writing!

After reading that kiss between remus and lupin all I can see is Lily and Marshall, from How I Met Your Mother, sitting in that booth and saying "that's love, bitch" as they high five eachother.

I always thought it was rather unnatural how Harry Potter was portrayed in canon as someone who could keep going like the Energizer Bunny; with nothing more than alittle moodiness. Even in this story, where the death of Sirius seemed to be the last straw for him, still seems unnatural. How anyone can survive half the crap life threw at this boy and not go mad is in itself madness.

You definitely gave me a HP who is more human. In the canon novels Harry is portrayed as nothing more than a war weapon without any feelings, and even Harry himself doesn't even understand that he is a lot more than that.

So thank you- thanks for giving me a good read to remind me that people are not possessions and objects to be used and forgotten. People have feelings, people are flawed and do not come with a manufacture warranty when they malfunction; as the wizard world seem to think is Dumbledore's department.

it's a really good story u got there! but too many grammatical mistakes man. try to keep it in the third person and you have totally neglected present perfect tense. otherwise it was good.
