While I'm not generally a fan of First Person POV, this story has been both delightful and captivating. I'd endeavor to read more so long as they were all like this.

I think this story was done really well, I feel like you captured all the characters perfectly and the scenes just flow. Normally I'm not a fan of first-person but you did it phenomenally. Love your stuff!

This was fantastic and very well written. Well done. I'm so glad I found this so close to Christmas time, not that I wouldn't appreciate it any other time of year but it made it even more poetic and magical.

This story got me goooood!
I thought I look up a short story before going to bed. Well that didn't quite work out. I was so fascinated by the way you write and what you wrote that I couldn't stop reading.
I was done at 4am knowing all so well I had to get up 3 hours later to go to work. ;-)
I'm sooo tired and still thinking about this story.

I likes the story very much and love the peaks and glimpses inside Emily's head. It's great that you assume the reader is familiar enough with her past, one that JJ has yet to learn about, and that you use that to inform her reactions and choices.
