Wow. Okay I still need to go back and do my review for "Croatia" but I jumped right into this story afterwards and I just had to put my thoughts down immediately. This ended up actually being kind of emotional for me. I was actually involved in a traumatic car accident as a child because of a drunk driver... and god I got Clint so much in this. As soon as I read the description for this story and saw that it was about Clint's 21st birthday, the first thing that popped into my head was how complicated that particular milestone can be when you've been so effected by someone who had too much to drink. And I'm SO glad you want there! SO glad you thought of that and presented it as a valid issue to have. You nailed it. It's not necessarily the alcohol itself that causes the issue, but the pressure there is to drink copiously. I didn't drink at all throughout college because I couldn't handle the intense pressure to do so, and only managed to start drinking socially when I was about 25. So to have that so well portrayed in this story literally made me a little teary eyed. Well done, you just continue to amaze me!

You always consider every angle for Clint's psyche, impressive. The training exercise thing was smart too. The guys' reactions to Elena were priceless lol. I agree with Clint not being a one night stand type of guy...the no strings thing is very in character with how little he values himself.

I spent my free time the last couple days reading your entire series.

First of all I would like to say, it is absolutely fantastic! Wonderful writing, exquisite characterization.

I love how far back you go, tracking him from an 18-year-old impulsive assassin kid to turning into the Hawkeye we see in the movies. The progression is so natural, and I found myself forgetting how much older he'd gotten.

I am mad about Phil, though... WHY? It's PHIL! And while I understand that he couldn't have 'died' without slipping Clint a hint, couldn't he have just slipped Nat and Clint a wink or a nod? I mean - they would have stayed professional, it's the rest of the team that really needed the push.
Still, it does work really well with the story... but WHY, PHIL, WHY?

I'm looking forward to the Untold Stories coming out... but after that I have to say I'm most excited for Not So Ancient History. Clint and Clint's past and the Team all in one story? You can't write fast enough for me :)

I was actually wondering when you would be releasing or starting Germany? Because I love the series it's in (bookmarked in my phone loved it) and would really like to read it. Also because I think I read that it was NATASHA that would be taking the bad stuff in that one. Sorry for the long comment but if you could answer that would be great.

Very nice to read. There is something about the writing that bring a normality to the characters. That they are real people with real lives. And not just robots working 24/7 on saving the work. Well not so sure about Phil and the robot thing Heehee.

This is my first time reviewing, but I read the Vantage Point series religiously! Love every part of it and can't wait to read more. That being said I have a quick question. Have we seen the part that was mentioned in this one-shot where Clint mentions bringing Phil to the orphanage he sponsors? I couldn't remember ever reading it and it is bothering me! If so which story is it in? I'm not sure if you can even respond to this but I thought I'd give it a shot. Can't wait to read untold stories!

Awww I loved this. I really felt for Clint not wanting to go out drinking and getting shit-faced because of what happened to his parents, but glad Phil, Todd and Dan respected his wishes and kept the drinking to a minimum. I liked Elena, but we all know how things progress between him and Natasha. Loved the guys giving Clint their speeches, and also the banter between these guys. They are all family and it was a pleasure to read.
