YAY! AN UPDATE! :D

The opening scene with Taren's death was so vivid. I loved the intensity between Zevran and Leliana there (also her shutting him down with "You lie as often as you drink and flirt" was great, and then OF COURSE he turns it around on her). The playfulness of the dialogue between Cullen and Varric was a lot of fun (Varric makes everything better, lol). And the reunion at the end! I love the way you write Bull.

Finally caught up! That was an action-packed set of chapters during that last arc! And it seems like things are speeding along their way...

I'm interested to see more of the visions and what Etain can glean from them. Also her relationship with Cullen and how that's developing.

I LOVE her exchanges with Zevran here! They're so sarcastic and witty and dry, and they keep challenging and pushing each other, it's a lot of fun to read. All your characterizations are spot on, it's one of the things I'm really enjoying.

I really do like the expansion you've given Cullen here-his suspicions (and considering his background, he does have a right to be suspicious), his shifting opinion of Lavellan, all great insights. One step at a time, indeed.
