I loved your second chapter. It was so promising. Well, in terms of someone having exactly the same views on Hermione as I do. But then you just had to go and write this chapter :-(. Hermione could not have stayed at Hogwarts - this is a big logical foul of the plot. She would have been killed or and tortured immediately being both Mudblood and Harry Potter's best friend. Also, her not being on the horcrux hunt deminishes her contribution as the most prominent war hero. I'm so sad now!

Why'd you make Draco refer to Blaise in a racist way? The one thing about Rowling's magical world is that no one paid heed to the colour of each other's skin. Yes, there was prejudice about heritage, but not colour. So it's way too OOC for Draco to say 'black arse', even if he's at odds with Blaise. I know some people don't mind being referred to as 'black' but combining it with the words you chose made the character come off as racially prejudiced in a skin colour way.

I do like your story though. So this is just constructive criticism.

This is such a lovely chapter. It so accurately describes those moments of trying to 'grow up' and try something new with your identity, only to be put down for it.
