I'm just reading this today and of course I have to say that I loved it, I don't know how you do to brighten all your stories, you really have the gift of entertainment and it's beautiful, I could feel the desperation of Kate entering the room of Rick, and that's it. For my favorites.

This. This right here is just one of the millions of reasons why you're such a talented blessing in this fandom. You took such a simple, almost silly, prompt and turned it into this emotional two-shot. I loved every second of it.

That was wonderful. The right mix of angst and ust, and then the love and tenderness. I loved this. I loved how Alexis was the one who invited her over for dinner that first time, idk why but that detail stood out to me. Alexis is a pretty compassionate person, I'd like to think she would like Kate in any AU. I love how brave Kate became, how she came to the realisation that she didn't want to live her life this way. In a way I like it because she came to that realisation quietly, not dangling from a roof, fearing for her life. (not that I mind that one either, haha) Loved how she just got up and went to Castle, how different it was from what he'd dreamt/imagined; her apologising and being tentative and tender. There's a feeling of love throughout this fic, and I liked how we sort of got hurled into it. You don't know what to expect: is it a story where she stays over and then they fall in love? No, you get thrown into the situation and everything between them is already going on/messy. Awesome writing. :)
