it was nice seeing Loki satisfied with himself, not hating the Jotun part of him

I think you made a mistake in this chapter... It said that when Loki went into Odin's office there were Odin and Freya. But when he left you wrote Loki had to find his mother and his brother still. Wasn't he just in a room with his mother?

I really liked this, it was a pleasant story.

Nobody reads comments? I don't know about that, I have seen quite a few discusions in reviews under the stories, which is rarer on as you can't scroll and browse and reply to them on the same panel, even so I saw few on ff too. Hell, I think I even participated in one, but well maybe I am just lucky. There certainly are comments I tend to ignore, through never to my stories. I think that what people think of my writing is my weak spot. Anyway I just wanted to say that this was great story. I don' t think I have ever before read about Loki smoking, but it fits so well with him, it seems impossible and yet... well good for you, cause I wouldn't be suprised if you created a new headcanon.

The funeral got me in the feels. Odin really genuinely trying with Loki did too. Bittersweet stories, man... they stay with you, because there's always a little bit of regret mingled with a little bit of contentment. Thanks for sharing this.

And when odin explains his actions and manifest his regret... Wow

I liked your ending (with odin reading the hobbit nonetheless! ) and your idea of leaving it open for us to wonder. ..

Hi again! I have to say, it would be wonderful if you did do a sequel eventually. I think this Loki would continue to wander, but every once and a while ze will stop by and save everyone. Although this has been a great stand alone.
