A lot of people don't really write about Zuko's old crew but I'm glad you did because it's such a good balance of Zuko being awkward and Zuko actually being sociable and I think you made it perfect and also Zuko would absolutely break all the fire nation nobility rules. Thank you so much for writing this! This is a really great idea you have going. If you can find a way to continue, please do. Perhaps the adventures of getting the engineer a job (naturally harder than Zuko expected). Of course, anything else you could write for this would be amazing.
