What's the deal with a lot of authors putting song lyrics into their stories?

It's so distracting and very unnecessary! : /

I'm surprised no one's noticed it or at least haven't commented on it yet. I'm not saying what IT is until someone can figure it out.

I liked it. I was a little surprised when he proposed to her because you made it sound like they weren't dating or anything. Just friendship and then BAM marriage. I was like "wish, TJ, buddy, at least take her out to dinner first!" Still it was very cute and I enjoyed it.
