Wow. This thoroughly shocked me. When I saw AU in the summary, I was a bit hesitant at first as I'm not a fan of AUs, but when I read the first half of the story, I was really into it, yet simultaneously confused since the scenario would perfectly blend with the actual show. When I continued reading, though...wow. That was so out of left field, I had to pause and reread it. However, I was really into the concept, and you still utilized their canonical character traits and interests, which I always love and expect from a story. When he was describing red to her while she contemplated to herself, it was like a bittersweet moment from a romance film (like The Fault in Our Stars). That moment when he mentioned the thunderstorms in July though...it was as if Leslie and I had the same reaction of shock and instant love. This whole story was so artfully painted and executed, it was breathtaking. If you are, I look forward to reading other pieces of art you may produce because if your future works will be any similar to this one, then I can expect more masterpieces that will probably rock my world.

This is absolutely amazing. One of the best fics I've read in awhile. Your writing is just gorgeous, and what an interesting idea - blind Leslie. Ben's bashfulness was adorable, and how articulate he became when describing colors...just perfect. Great job on this story.
