So far, it's really good :). I also like how you included the author's note at the end there, it gives me a good feel for the layout of the islands in the story. Have you tried reading the Magnus Chase series yet?

Now, for a review on this story. I've only read this one chapter but I promise to finish them all. I think this builds up a lot of anticipation, and allows a plot to hang from a cliff for a little bit. But now that you've gotten me into this, I don't know if I should really go on, since unfinished.
