I just read this story for the first time (not the last time, thats for sure), and find it very interesting what you did with the premise of the Alternate Universes, especially now when Max and Maxine switched places. That last chapter really got me, Chloes thoughts and worries, and her constant fear of loosing those close to her. (Oh splendid, now my feels are getting crushed again.) Also kinda funny how different Maxine is in this timeline; you can actually read her journal entries ingame and what you wrote is very close to that. Although she really turned out to be a...uhm,...not nice, I like where the story is going. I hope they'll find a way to fix everything, I'll definitely keep reading! Keep up your great work!

The last sentences confuse the heck out of me. Who is talking there? The choice of words doesn't seem to match any of the obvious candidates.
