Ok, now I need to know why do Angels need half ghosts.

Okay, I am somewhat confused by this (the problem of reading crossovers with unfamiliar series) but I did like the Vlad and Danny dialog at the beginning where Vlad is asking Danny if he always has to blurt out everything he knows and blame Vlad for everything automatically.

This is really good.

I always enjoy it when Vlad and Danny are trapped in an unknown room together. It really brings out the best in them.

Also, I don't know who Zachariah is, but any character getting their butt handed to them by Danny is worth reading. Let me know if you update the story.

How would the angels know that they'd be hungry? (what if they did eat the food? Was it like Persephone and the pomegranate? Or fey food, where a bite gives them power over you?)
Oh man, what is the power level difference between those two and an actual Angel here? Would they have to weaken our halfas or can the Angels just poof them into prisons without trouble?
Zachariah is a Seraph, even stronger than Castiel...
OOOoo what if he was trying to get the halfas to 'have faith' and work with the Angels for some reason? Danny likes the fight of Good and Evil but Vlad is more world-wise and sees the shades of grey, they manipulation weaving through the angel's words.
OH WHAT IF what if Zachariah wants to bring paradise to earth, and wants to use the halfas to get the Apocolypse rolling again. There are different versions, after all. In an alternate future (that angels might be able to observe) their fused ghost halves pretty much brought an end of the world... with a little angelic juice behind it, Zach bets he could get it all the way.
All those lives... a necessary sacrifice.
I dont think Zach would push for the apocolypse directly, just nudge them toward a certain path (mb the crown ring of the ghost king) that would allow one or the other to have... dude what if Dan had the crown and ring?

And Vlad's like 'No this is a terrible idea' and Zachariah is like 'Well do you want Lucifer to win?' and Danny's like 'Umm thats a bit harsh"
but Vlad's like "He was the most beautiful angel, wasn't he?" and Danny's like "bro." and Zachariah turns to Danny like "He's already steeped in darkness would you follow the same path?" And Danny's all bristly like 'Fuk evil m8' and Zachariah is all sweet words and 'Side with angels' and Danny's like 'Angels Good, right?" (of course, of course)

and so Danny runs off on the Angel's orders to find the crown ring again, and Vlad tries to stop him - danny sees this as 'Vlad being evil as always'
But at the last minute something makes him realize that the Angels have their own agenda.
TOO LATE! The ghost halves get ripped out of them both, and Danny in a fit of desperation shoves on the crown and ring... (as we know these things aren't meant for humans) and things go Terribly Wrong.

but, we get a bit of Phantom and Plasmius being separate beings together, and Vlad meeting his Other Self. and Danny's lil human body being overwhelmed by a purely 'energy' posession, no real intent or ghostly will behind it.
Ooo and maybe Plasmius is closest the fastest to process things so he jumps into Danny.
And Plasmius!Danny rips the artifacts off (much to the dismay of angels, who then attack them to grab the artifacts and give them to someone more useful)
So Phantom dives into Vlad (More powerful with a host) and they basically swap powers/instincts for a while, as they battle angels.
I can imagine Danny just shrieking at Vlad 'Ghostly wail, Ghostly wail!' and he's like 'wtf child' and Danny accidentally duplicates while trying to dodge something, like (shit, it's this easy for you? what a ripoff!) and yells at him 'Just take a deep breath and scream your heart out at them!'
And so they're kinda yelling powers back and forth and Danny's hella surprised that Vlad has a Fire core (but can feel the warmth pulsing, and it feels so great to breath it out like a dragon) and Vlad is shocked af at the Ghostly Wail, as well as the amount of POWER Phantom has.
And they both get a feel of the ghostly influence... (Phantom giving optimistic!bravado/excited!ferocity/fight!fight! and Plasmius giving arrogant!superiority/singleminded!goals/Mine!)

So Plasmius!Danny puts on the ring and Phantom!Vlad puts on the crown, and together they beat almighty angel ass.

And Zachariah the angels are pretty powerful anyway so it's a good fight.
