Besides, I am actually a fan of flower language myself even if I am quite a killer when it comes to plants... I've noticed that the meaning I found on The Language of Flowers (Vanessa Diffenbaugh) are actually really different from the site you used...Like, Misteltoe is "I surmount all obstacles", Mimosa meant "sensitivity", the Tulip "Declaration of love" or Jonquil that means "desire". I was actually taken aback since certain are pratically opposites (in the book Lavander is 'mistrust' while in the site is 'love, devotion'). |
