What a wild ride. I love all these twists and turns and nods to canon. The odd pairings, the fact that Chandler had no clothes, Ursula, Joey, it was all so good. Everyone not wanting to leave.

Just a great mash-up of who they are in canon and who these new AU characters were. I'm really glad you wrote this.

This is such a crazy, zany story. At least as far as the side characters are concerned. It is like A/U Monica and Chandler are trapped in this wild crazy show where everyone else is hilariously dysfunctional. I love it.

These are so much fun - I could read an entire Phoebe/Eddie story unto itself. Then the moving in, Chandler having nothing and feeling bad, how you have him make Monica feel better about herself and the last line is hilarious. This story is just so much fun.

What a fun and creative chapter. The Eddie/Dennis stuff was great and just so well done. Bringing Judy into the mix was a nice touch too and I love the little details, like the cold food, the Ursula stuff, mentioning Ross and Rachel in the museum. Just so good.

This was such a fun chapter. Phoebe, Eddie, Ross all so hilarious. I love how Eddie became Chandler's Denise. How Phoebe still likes it weird, and even how fast you have them moving in together.

It not only is a fun chapter but felt like a crazy sitcom. Loved it.

I love this twist you added and the scare, it makes it feel real that these two inexperienced people would get caught up in everything and forget about condoms. I like how even though they seem so awkward when outside, together, they talk and relax just like any universes Mondler would.

And these chapter titles are a stroke of genius.

This was such a great way to celebrate the really cute and rewarding conclusion to these episodes and I am so excited to see where you take this. It is amazing how you shifted gears and found the voices of these two characters because they are so different from the Mondler we know, and you just nail it.

What a great idea to explore the AU Mondler. I know this has a lot of erotica in it, but for me what sticks out is how sweet and gentle they are, how they hesitate, second guess, you can feel they both share so many insecurities about what is happening and almost wordlessly assuage them. Really well done.

That was just amazing. What a great story. I loved the continuation of Mondler, and exploring Chandler's "loser" status a bit more in these last chapters. Getting rid of his work suits is a symbolic gesture that completely fits his character!
Ross and Phoebe as roommates is an amazing idea, now I kinda wish it was in the show. I don't ship them romantically (but I don't ship anyone outside of the canon couples so I guess my opinion is pretty irrelevant) but I also always say that their dynamic is far more interesting that some of extracanon popular ships, they have far more depth and chemistry.
I was waiting for more about Rachel and it's perfect! I loved how similar she is to her sisters, that's definitely the trajectory she'd took with Barry.

Chandler is just so swoon here, and treats Monica so well. I just love the whole dynamic, how he helps her be more comfortable with herself, and she helps boost his self esteem.

Superb writing, amazing subplots (like seriously, it's one of the hardest things for me to write, I'm a little jealous), and I love all the easter eggs and subtle references. This story checks all my fanfic *kinksan interesting take on canon, great characterization, realistic with a great personal touch.

I don't how I haven't read this story before and I'm kicking myself. I couldn't wait to finish before leaving a review because these four first chapters are SO insanely good!
This is an amazing idea for a story and it's executed brilliantly. First of all, the Mondler side is even more heartwarming than in the episode. It was something the writers had to address after the Thanksgiving flashbacks and I'm also glad they followed it up in season 7. I LOVE your take on the way Chandler becomes so enamored with her, and it's all because of how he feels about her, as a person, and how their friendship is always crucial in every universe. You give a really satisfying explanation of the process he goes through, and their first time is just so sweet. I love how you nail the different dynamics of the group in this universe, they're surprisingly similar to TOW The Flashback. Once Joey and Rachel are kind of removed from the group, and Ross is busy with his marriage problems, they're really, really close. They're each other's first and best friends. So even after Rachel and Joey enter the picture more prominently, it's still a very strong bond, the bond you share with your longest friend is always particular (on a side note, I love how in both, Ross and Phoebe also seem to share a deep bond that becomes stronger in the latter seasons, and most people don't seem to notice how much advice they give each other, in my opinion it's the deepest friendship outside the main dynamics but I digress).

But what I love too is how much you're exploring the others in this. I'm cracking up at Phoebe's storyline, it kinda lacked depth on the show but you're using it so well. And the inclusion of Eddie! It's so great. I didn't pay attention to Chandler's roommate in this universe. I don't see him accepting Joey to pay for rent (Bings are proud when it comes to money!), but he would be struggling. Love it. I awwed when Chandler missed the pounds she lost.
Chapter 4 made me genuinely laugh with the reveal of the relationship. An excellent different take on TOW Everybody Finds Out! Phoebe and Joey are hilarious here.

This is for now, and I can't wait to read the 4 other chapters with the pregnancy scare implications!

Great story! It's been years since I've watched Friends, but this brought back memories. Before that episode , I always wondered if Chandler would have still loved Monica if she had stayed fat, and that AU episode just piqued my curiosity more. I'm glad that, in this story, the answer to that question is a resounding yes! Nice job!
