Reviews for Two Queens, One King
72- CurlyLocks -72 chapter 4 . 6/21
Posting my review on this chapter as it seems I must have commented on the last few ages ago.

Still love this story so. Hope you get inspiration for more soon as I am really curious to see what Henry's next moves are for his thoughts of his and Catherine's marriage.

Athenais Penelope Clemence chapter 6 . 7/9/2018
Well, I want to say a few words about this story. I read it a few day ago, and now, as I finally logged in my account, I’m seizing the chance to write this review.

Perhaps Anne and Henry’s love story would have had a different outcome if they had married in 1527/28/29. In this AU, the pope agreed to allow Henry to take a second wife, just because he understood that if he hadn’t done that, England would no longer be a Catholic country. I wonder what would have happened if it had occurred in history, which is, however, unlikely. Of course, Catherine’s pleas to Henry not to wed Anne fall on deaf ears, for Henry loves Anne and wants to marry her, and, most importantly, he doesn’t consider Catherine his wife. But I must say that I admire Catherine’s dignified behavior in chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6, for she communicates with Anne in a civil and polite way. Catherine has the courage and strength to accept the fact that Anne’s son will one day seat on the throne of England, not her beloved Mary.

I’m truly glad that Anne and Henry have a son and a daughter. The name they chose for a girl surprised me, for Isobel is a Spanish variant of Elizabeth, which is from the Hebrew elīsheba' (God is my oath). Why did they choose a Spanish name when they both dislike Spain? But I remember that there was Isobel of Huntingdon, Scottish princess and ancestor of Robert the Bruce, king of Scotland, so maybe this name was used in England and Scotland as well. I’m also surprised that Anne and Henry named their precious boy John, for King John I of England, the youngest son of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, was not an impressive monarch at all. It is interesting that Anne is allowed to choose names for both of their children.

I absolutely loved the newest chapter! Baby John into their lives now and to see the joy he brought to Anne and Henry just as Isobel did. I enjoyed reading everything going through all their minds and wonder how this will affect Katherine and await what will Henry do next
GA522 chapter 6 . 10/7/2017
I love your stories and I really can't wait for more updates. Especially the next chapter of this story, I want to know what John's half-sister, the Spanish ambassador and any other enemy of Anne has to say about this. I guess I'm hoping for drama.
Anyhow, love your fics and I think you are a great writer.
ugaddan chapter 6 . 9/15/2017

Wishing For Dragons chapter 6 . 9/4/2017
Well, I knew Anne would live but I wasn't sure if her son would. Speaking of little John, I was surprised that we didn't get (the younger) Princess Mary's reaction to his birth.
Anyhow wonderful chapter. Can't wait for more.
