Wonderful, as a mmo fan I can just see what's going on and am enjoying this immensely.

Off topic do you have a mmo recommendation? I have played quite a few and am currently in between games.
Final fantasy 14: great fun just too easy.
WoW: pre-cataclysm was great turned too easy after that
GW2 : interesting system major limitations due to skills determined by weapons.
Terra: great game disliked the range limitations due to being made for consoles primarily
Rifts : wonderful customization but that led to it being too easy.

not bad so far, please update. check your spelling and formatting, its sometimes a bit off. maybe try and work some more details in? the story could use a bit more depth.

You play rim world? Nice. Although don't get fooled by someone's lack of a stomach, they just take several hours to eat.

'White Death'. I never did figure out the joke to his name, even though he was a healer
I know the White Death is tuberculosis and it was pretty bad a few centuries back…not sure why he would name his healer char after a disease healers could not treat.

All I will say is nice use of the SAO Abridged reference. In retrospect how a wall climing, acid spitting sheep managed to kill twelve of them did kinda make sense.

Ruby you are diabolical sometimes. I've done that to a few friends as well, they learned to never wake a sleeping MMO player you will regret it. Dwarf Fortress, the only game where losing is fun and the learning curve is a learning cliff. I am pretty happy with the 2014 update. Have fun at the Anime Convention see you in the next chapter.

What really bothers me is that everyone's power level is arbitrary. I think you could do with fleshing out her class, add stats skills and so on. At the moment it feels like a power fantasy

Oh boy looks like Blake might be a bit of a Ruby fan girl. Further interactions between Ruby and Blake should be interesting. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Interesting story...

Only three chapters in and I can see that this could end up being a long fic if you wanted it to be. Though I do have to ask can we expect any refrences to other games or are you staying refrence free?

Either that was an RVB reference or I was reading too much into Yang's threat. Short chapter but a pretty good way to bring in the other characters. I don't really think I can see Yang as a chef though.
