Meh. It was good don't get me wrong. it was well planned out and the idea behind it was REALLY good. But the POV was mostly from Vanessa and Rebecca which was weird and even boring at times. There was so much untapped potential in this story.

For example when you killed Ed. I'm not mad that you did, but I'm irritated how you skimmed over it and ignored a wonderful opportunity to have a sad moment and delve more into how everyone FELT about it. You hardly talked about anyone's reactions or misgiving reguarding certain events and situations.

And Riza knowing alchemy? I personally didn't like that, yeah it could make sense I guess but it's way too OOC for her.

Not to mention the complete nerfing of the humonculi. it takes WAY more that that to kill one and it seemed a bit lazy at times. But I understand that It's hard to write fight scenes.

overall I enjoyed reading it. Maybe I've just been spoiled with Akkari's writhing though...

Oh man. This story really sent me through so much. Roy and Riza's past, the amazingness that is the characters Rebecca and Vanessa, seeing Al without his brother, and how terrifying he could be. Riza campaigning for Furer...
I will say that some of my favorite parts were when Vanessa talked Al down, Rebecca holding her own against Bradley, and so many parts of the flashbacks

Just popping in to say that this chapter made me tear up when I read it. I know it's not over yet, but I really love this fic and this chapter was excellent. I love your characterization and your call backs.

It’s no secret that I adore this fic. It’s not just a “oh yeah whatever look at this fic I’m betaing you guys” kind of thing when I reblog the chapters. I agreed to beta it BECAUSE I love it so much and I want to give it more exposure. And this chapter might just be my favorite of all of it.

First off, it’s young!Royai, which I adore. Second, it gives off vibes that remind me of not one but two of my very most favorite fics of all time, while remaining wholly its own and true to the spirit of the rest of its fic.

I just wanna finish by saying this fic is underrated and I really hope more people pick it up, because it’s very well-done.
