I really like the concept of this story. How did the Trio and Draco get from point A to point B after the War?

This makes sense in the form of first steps. Hermione bonds with Draco over academics, Harry through his empathy for one who has suffered as he did, and Ron through chess and competition.

In fact, this is my favorite chapter yet. This truly would be the one way to build respect between Ron and Draco. Hermione and Harry might be able to begin by feeing sorry for the Slytherin, but not Ron.

I get the feeling you may possibly be moving to a Hr/D pairing. Though my general preference is always for canon, I can enjoy other pairings in a fic so long as they make sense and don't come out of nowhere. Whether you do so or not, I think you are laying a foundation that would work well if you go that way.

So in love with your story! Literally finish it in a few hours. i know you're taking a break for a bit and ill be patiently waiting for the next chapter.
