noooooooooo fucking way, i need to know hw this ends, what will happend between lucario and loppuny? when will lucario get his mega? i need answeeeeerssss, you can't do this to me

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is an amazing franchise, but in something like a VRMMORPG? It'd be kinda weird, even as a regular mmo in general. Really cool concept though.

I would be either treecko, chimchar, absol, bulbasaur, chikorita, shinx,or buizel, but I also want to say pixie eevee and torkoal. Nice!

I would be in solo and acing this because I am good at leveling up so I would be ahead, in real life I am endurant and fast, in all the mystery dungeon games I survive but my partner doesn't survive moves like earthquake or magnitude or bulldozer or tailwind even when it is super effective. My partner survives 8% of these moves while I always survive and it kicks me out of the dungeon. Have you had that happen?

So I'm new to this story, but can I just say, I love it! I can't wait for your next chapter! You're really gifted at writing! I'd love to see a sequel for this. Oh. This story is beautiful; I can't wait for more. It took me a while, but I finally got the Lake Laogai reference. My only problem is seeing Nintendo and GameFreak as evil. Mercenary? Sure, but not evil like the Death Game concept would suggest.

Feels like I just started reading and I'm already caught up. Dang, it takes a good story to get me to read 12 chapters in one sitting like that.

I really like what you've done with this. Riolu/Lucario makes such an interesting main character and has enough similarities to Kirito that in hindsight he seems like such an obvious choice for the main character of a Pokemon SAO. And I'm not really sure why, but I love Buneary/Lopunny filling the love interest role.
The story itself really does feel like SAO if it had been made by the Pokemon Company. Mystery Dungeon was the perfect series to adapt to the MMO format, and you've done so flawlessly.

My inner editor demands that I point out a number of errors and inconcistences throughout, but all in all not nearly enough to make me stop reading (yes, I've done that before), or really even react beyond wrinkling my nose at them. You've got me so invested I'm actually ingoring them in favor of reading. :D

the quest giver is a nod to the apple loving guild master in mystery dungeon time/darkness/sky.

I guess it's time for a review:

Let's start with the idea of combining SAO and PMD... As a fan of both franchises you already had me hooked with the first chapter. A MMO just works with all the stats, moves, abilities, etc. of the Pokemon games.
God dammit! It's SAO... With Pokemon in it!

Writing: Good grammer, didn't notice a lot of mistakes, solid writing-style. Keep it at that quality and you're good to go.

I don't want to put up any spoilers so I'll just say that Riolu sure has to go through a lot of shit. Really curious when he finally reaches that max happiness.

My suggestion: Someone from Buneary's guild is going to betray her, Riolu jumps in and saves her, they kiss, max happiness, both evolve.
Just guessing from what happens with Asuna and Kirito in SAO. (This might turn into a spoiler if my guess is correct, huh...)

Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm already excited for the next chapter!
