I gotta say this story made me a bit sad at the idea that Sarah and Jareth were planning on living without each other. That’s a compliment by the way, because you definitely made me tear up. I do wonder what Sarah would have chosen had she not died. It hits a little close to home for me, as I’m in a long distance relationship right now and I am optimistic but sometimes, I gotta be realistic and know that one of these days, something is going to hurt because either we stay together and one of us moves countries or we break up and that also sucks. You portrayed that very well in Jareth and Sarah. I MELTED when he called her his twin flame. It’s so very sweet.

I’m a huge fan of Jareth’s mom and brother, by the way! I think it’s good you showed that tension between all of them but also the love. It wouldn’t make sense for him to be as isolating or a bit of ass as he is in the film otherwise.

Oh and I also LOVE your Irish mythology stuff! I don’t know anything about it so it’s pretty cool to learn.

The arguments between Sarah and Jareth were on point. I feel like at least one good argument shows how compatible they’d be because it’s how you get over the argument that shows how well you’d work out.

I do wonder about Toby too. Could he have been able to live Underground as Sarah could, because he was there once as a baby? I know you don’t say so but I hope so! I’m glad at least Jareth and Sarah seem to appear to see him.

Marvelous story. Wow I truly enjoyed all of it. It was different to not see Sarah and Jareth in an antagonistic beginning relationship of hot and cold. Generally I find the ones where she gives into him freely quite dull in comparison to the passion between them. I only know if a handful that capture their passionate relationship without the ongoing bickering. Too often the milder ones sacrifice their personalities and character. This being one of them. I truly love how effortlessly Jareth and Sarah rekindle their feelings together and grow into a deeper love. I love your version of Jareth he's charismatic, and arrogant to an extent but effortlessly devoted to Sarah. He still has that immortal presence of danger and intrigue but plays the part of Sarah's knight and love so freely. Sarah herself is wonderful as well still headstrong but much more mature and understanding just what exactly Jareth had been offering her when she was still a child. She now accepts his love freely and shows him how much she wished to be with him. I dearly love how the two of them are described as being one. Being each others flame. I sigh happily.

Apart from the passionate romance in this story there is also a great deal of myth and intrigue to sink your teeth in and you really enjoyed the mythoes you created on the origin of Jareth's kind truly unique and plausible given the nature of superstition and jealously one can fall prey to its tragic to think on but it fits well with history. I find it so unique that this is how Sarah and Jareth reconnect it's truly a unique way to handle things. I'm a sucker for any Labyrinth story with mythology weaved in and this one was a great piece. Yes your story wasn't the longest I've read but I couldn't put it down fror an instant and I think it was truly satisfying. I couldn't imagine a happier ending and I was thrilled to learn Sarah is expecting their first child soon aww. Also Toby's small part in the story was great as well glad to see he got a happy end too after he followed in his sisters footsteps. Beautiful story I laughed, cried, blushed and experienced so many emotions I can't begin to comprehend. Thank ever so much for writing this I will treasure this chance to read your take on their happily ever after.

Also hope your little kitty is doing well I have one in my life as well that came to me as a babe and I find they are truly a gift to have in your life. I know this is a little random but I saw that authors note and thought of my own bundle of fluff lol.
