| Kismetica chapter 7 . 11/12/2016 Ah, it's been once year since it's been updated. Anywho, this story is very nice to read. It's funny in some parts, dramatic during others, but overall very enjoyable. It's obvious that there's a bond developing between Shinichi and Kaito, but it's a nice, slow build. (Thank goodness for that!) Since there yet many mysteries that neither of them know, it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I'm looking forward to Kaito's identity reveal, in particular. You don't reallt find fics like these nowadays; I look forward to the next update. |

Shinichi's characterization is spot-on, I absolutely loved the parallels between the fake KID heist and Kaito's parents' first meeting (was secretly a little disappointed about the lack of kisses, though! ), but what I appreciated most of all was the fact that, even though the story's main pairing is KaiShin, you aren't forgetting to also focus on Shinichi's interactions with the other important people in his life: Ran, Haibara, the Detective Boys, etc. Too often, many of my favorite DC/MK characters get relegated to the background or become terribly OOC for the sake of pushing the main characters' romance along, so your fic is incredibly refreshing in that regard! You rock, and I can't wait to read more of this! |
