It took me quite awhile to think of this review (especially the delay) but I hope I have encouraged you somehow. Seriously, I can't really think of a proper review for this without being so utterly speechless with your phenomenal writing! The mature depictions of war, as well as the cruel reality of Reim is conveyed well. The intensity of each character left me at the edge of my seat and your OCs all have destinct personalities and an interesting depth in them. From what you've said, it makes me wonder how these characters are going to affect the plot. But the crowning glory of it all is Seneca herself. What a compelling character...having to be a product of war and desentisized and traumatized from it feels real and natural, like how you've portrayed her in that slaves scene. There was just something so poignant in the way that she tried to help those slaves only to be retaliated back by the nasty order of things. It intrigues me more how she'll grow (and her relatioship with muu). Like Seneca, I find Naevius quite interesting too :) I do believe there is more to him that we expect judging by how much trouble he has gotten himself in just to want to be free. You must be busy and I don't want to push you but I hope you do update. I'm curious for more.

You had me at chapter one, this is one of the best fics on here. Excellent writing as well. I hope you update soon.

So what you have for Muu is a way to show that the reason he keeps fighting is because of his mother right, or is it because that was the only person he was really close to when he was young and in the spot light? Also (don't know if I asked this question) but how did she die?

With Neavius and Senaca, are you having it where she's shown as a boy in her younger years? To help hide that she's a woman and that she's actually getting a education as well when the society thinks otherwise?

Second part, I have to say is rather interesting. Is she one of those people who tend to be more interested in being in the background and gathering information instead of being in the spot light? Well right now it seems she's more curious of how to gather and learn information than anything else... so guess that answer a bit of the question... *shrug*

I take it that Muu's mother died from something that left a impression on him...?

This is definitely one of the better fics I've read in this fandom, if not I'm general. Especially with an OC, l can tell you put a lot of effort into it and it shows.

Woah, this is fantastic! And i have to ask, are you a GOT fan? I clicked on this fic beacause of the summary, the quote reminded of the dialogue between varys and tyrion but I didn't expect to find such a great story. I really like it beacause of your writing style and the mature content, especially because well-written stories like this are really hard to find in the magi fandom. Keep up the good work and update soon ( as soon as you're able, that is, i don't to rush you)

I also take it that the reason's she rather, ah what's the word... Blocked? from certain actions would be because she was alone all the time and has no meaning of compassion or any intake of what it's like to care for someone other than yourself.

This story is amazing! I've always wanted to see somebody do some works in detail about the Fanalis, and this is simply astounding. I love the language you've used and the scenario you've set up. I look forward to what Seneca does next... she sounds like a pretty badass character.
