Oh my goodness, that was so sad but beautiful at the same time. But holy shit those curses are pretty intense! I love that you have the dude saying all that horrible stuff and then you have adorable Illya and Napoleon call each other stuff like little brat and jerk. XD They're so cute. Anywho, a positive outlet for Illya would be very good, cause poor Solo's face is too pretty to be taking all those beatings.

Interesting. I think Illya should just fuck his anger out of his body, preferably with Gaby.

Dawwwwwwwww this is just so wonderful. SOOO wonderful! I love the friendship (even if it's grudging/reluctant/dysfunctional at times) you've crafted here between these two guys, and I really appreciate how you kept them on equal footing-Solo won some and Illya won some. But of course, I especially love Napoleon being all helpful and self-sacrificial and just downright wonderful :D I would love it if you wrote more in this fandom of these two!

omg there were so many epic and funny moments in this! there (unfortunately) isnt enough room to rant and list all the awesome quotes, scenes and comical glaring so i shall simply label this work of art as a masterpiece, favourite it and move along to your next story :) Keep it up!

whoa I am studying in Cyprus and I live a few miles from the border and that mission in the beggining really hit home, it was super realistic for me :D Also my best friend is albanian and I was laughing my ass off because I actually knew most of the swears I looove this fIc and it's actually the first one I'm reading on THIS IS SO AWESOME!

That was really interesting. I wasn't completely sure about this character trait in the film, and I'm still not, but you did a good job of addressing it here and keeping Illya human by showing just how guilty he feels every time he loses control and does as Napoleon suggests.

What I liked most though was how clear it was that Napoleon genuinely cares about Illya a lot. Although some of his reasoning is to do with salvaging the missions, for the most part he puts himself in harms way to try and prevent Illya harming himself. It was also really nice to see that reciprocated in the final chapter, when Illya was so full of remorse and admitted he doesn't like hitting Napoleon.

Despite the angsty and serious subject matter you still kept just the right amount of their customary humour throughout. I did chuckle to myself at Illya's dry " You could start ducking" :)

Illya kinda reminds me of those sour-patch kids commercials (as anti-dramatic as that comparison is). Really though, he was kind of adorable after he came back all guilty and uncomfortable in that last scene. I went to read this after reading your other MFU fic and was certainly not disappointed. This was just as awesome as the other one :)

Really enjoyed this! I loved the movie also; and felt you got Illya and Solo perfectly! Hopefully you will write another fic in this fandom! Thanks for this great read!
