I haven’t even started the story but I have to give it to the author for continuing a story for 1.6 million words, that’s like 16 books. And they’re going to continue it for who knows how long because I haven’t read it yet and don’t know where the plot is at. I’m still mind blown by the word count alone

Alright this is for chapters 1-24.

I'll admit, it took me awhile to get used to this story. I'm wasn't too fond of the whole combining both shows thing, since it felt like it's just the characters in both shows starring in episodes, without any of them affecting the outcome in anyway. In fact, I still have that feeling, though I trust you improve upon this in the later chapters.

However, what makes this so great is the dialogue, especially around both shows biggest episodes. You really are SPOT on with how the characters react with the events on each episode, to a point where this feels like I'm reading the real deal, and hell, I want this to be the real deal. While the characters don't affect the outcomes of anything, it's just pleasant to seem them act like the word of reason when somebody screws up. Hell, that alone is why Grunkle Stan is my favorite in this. His reactions feel so genuine to the things around him, while his parental moments are so great. You did get my attention, and I'll definitely be reading the rest of this.

This is a pretty good chapter. Look like we'll see where Ford went in the past three decades.

Stonemason's gonna be so much worse than this, everybody keep that in mind

So, a battle in the Nightmare Realm against Bill is coming, huh? What an intense way to end a chapter. I'm already wondering if Ford will meet the refugees he met thirty years ago, and if he can help them escape the Nightmare Realm. But those are all just thoughts.

As for Stepper, I guess I can sympathize with his desire to be his own person. It has me wondering if we'll be seeing more of him in the future. Maybe if Steven and Dipper remember his rant about wanting to have more memories, of wanting to be himself, they might decide to form him more often so he can have that. Maybe he might be Stepper when chapters start at some point.

But really, this is all just stuff that was wandering through my mind. Whatever happens next is all you.

Damn that was an emotional rollercoaster. This arc does not disappoint and I can't wait to see what's next.

Just one question, since arc 8 is almost finished, is there gonna be an arc 9?

Another emotional roller coaster for sure. The second half of the first act followed a lot of repetitive beats, what with everybody reacting to Stepper's situation one at a time. I still liked those parts though. Overall, another incredible chapter and I can't wait to see how it all ends next time in Dimensions.

Stepper didn't argue, though as he left with Mabel, he did cast a silent, sympathetic glance over his shoulder at the pair of Gems that remained outside as Peridot began to weave a story of woe that she believed was best left forgotten. "I-I… suppose I just come right out and say it…" the green Gem glanced down guiltily. "I've… fused with… with Bill Cipher before…"

Needless to say that Lapis was stunned upon hearing this, her former fury stalled as an entirely new type of anger filled in its place. "You… what?" she asked, her voice barely louder than a whisper.

"I-It was a mistake! A-a complete and total mistake that I'm incredibly ashamed of, you need to know that above all else!" Peridot implored her anxiously. "H-he promised me he'd get me back to Homeworld, h-he said he was working in league with the Diamonds (and he is by the way, that's just about the only thing he wasn't lying about). But he-""

"A-and you said yes?! You let him fuse with you?!" Lapis asked, baffled.

"I-I understand how foolish it sounds in retrospect, b-but at the time, Pyrite seemed like the perfect proposition!" Peridot took a nervous step back. "I-it wasn't of course, e-especially after he took control a-and forced me to the wayside. H-he essentially trapped me inside my own gem with him! T-that's just what he does, from what I've heard. He traps you in situations you can't get out of, n-not without having to ask him for his "help". That's what he did to me, a-and I'm willing to bet that's what he did to Steven and Dipper too…"

Lapis's anger finally cooled somewhat at this, her expression falling into sudden solace at this as she let out a long, remorseful sigh over her previous thoughtless behavior. "P-Peridot, I… I had no idea…" she said quietly. "I'm… I'm sorry…"

"You're not the one who needs to be sorry," Peridot's manner turned resolved as she offered the blue Gem a supportive smile. "I-I may not be strong or brave enough to face Cipher again, but Lapis, you… I know you are, for both of us! If there's anyone who can help Steven and Dipper now, it's you. Well, and Mabel and Garnet and Amethyst and Pearl and Ford and-"

"Ok, ok, I get it," Lapis said with a small chuckle.

And the stepper, sending Mabel into a fit. The poor dear thinking she’ll never see her brother or others again.

And that’s it, without the shield journal, his identity is gone and bill wants it to discover the rift!

Oh my glob you guys, drama bomb!

Damn man...way to be an ass and leave us hanging like that... HOW LONG BEFORE THE NEXT CHAPTER?! WE ALL NEED TO KNOW!

I’m razzed by this second cliff hanger! But it’s such amazing writing. The emotion! The story! Everything is so beautifully done. Now I’m sad I have to wait for more. Keep up the phenomenal job.
