I'm standing... I'm clapping... BRAVO! This was a wonderful little oneshot... or maybe, it doesn't have to be? ;) I enjoyed reading, which I always have with your stories... and this wasn't any different. I liked how you keeped us 'in the dark'... of course we know it's Beth, but you refer to her as 'the girl' until Rick tells Daryl... "Beth's alive." I also liked how everyone was there, you named most everyone in TEAM FAMILY ... but you gave reverence to the moment and made it only about Beth & Daryl. Sure, Rick and Carol played a part (good work on Carol, by the way... a lot of the stories I've read lately, she's DEEP out in left field... I mean, on the warning track), but the focus was on Beth & Daryl's reunion. Loved every bit of them together! From Daryl slowly coming to the realization that she's real, alive and there... sleeping, in front of him, to the heavy make out scene... 'nuff said... to Carol quietly looking in on them, while they sleep and just as quietly slipping back out. I always enjoy reading your stories because you set the scene so well, your very descriptive and make it easier for me to visualize... great job! Like I said at the start... this doesn't have to be a one shot... but maybe it should. I'm not saying, something couldn't come from this... something could and it would be wonderful, but I think this was enough and it had a perfect ending. Again, great work!
