I actually read a few where the whole company went back in time and tryed to secretly keep the others safe and knew not to trust the insane wizard who told lies to them on more then one occasion by telling them bilbo was expecting them when he wasn't and a few where bilbo went back but kept it secret

Wouldn't surprised me if he staged the whole thing to forced them to go to Riverdale think about it he disappeared before the trolls showed up and. Showed up just in time to save them and when they get chase by orcs he happen to find a tunnel leading to Riverdale to trick them into going there then there the goblin cave what was so important that he had to leave them there then shown up before they are killed . by goblins

Did u notice the birds took them over the forest of mirkwood before leaving them on cliff side that just happen to belong to a bear shifter and claimed he was a friend yet he never met him before just for them had to backtrack back through the forest that the birds flew them over my guess is he had to be working against them while pretending to help them then u add in he didn't warn them about the spiders that he very well knew was in that forest do to the one with rabbits warn him before they gone to Riverdale and why didn't he question bilbo about his ring then on Lord of the rings just like that came to lead bilbo son on a quest and for what to destroy the ring wonders what he was originally have him do

Lmao. I love time travel ones too. This was perfect, mind you, and I would have loved seeing a whole extension of it. And also, love how you twisted it so that Frodo is Bilbo’s son and not cousin/nephew.

I love this fic! Great interactions between the characters, and I love the humor XD Especially Bilbo amd Thorin's "lovers spat" at the beginning and the company's reaction to it, as well as the part about Dìs and gigolas were very funny XD
