The beginning was very strong and as the chapters go on the story gets weaker, the characters loose agency, the reader looses their interest. Had it been about 130-150k words total story it would have worked better. Some of the plot points like the veelas are absolute nonsense, and ruin an opportunity for a scarce resource dilemma, for hp. I mean dude, you had the reason for conflict and problems to be overcome some stakes and a time limit that could have been introduced. There was an opportunity for a no more space on the island for the veelas, no more money, voldemort laying siege to their refuge, anything really... Instead there are unlimited funds thanks to Luna, unlimited space thanks to the goblins, and no worries about LV because the veelas agreed straight away to everything. It's just boring to read man.

This is without a doubt the best written most boring story I've read. No stakes, no villain, no problems to overcome, everything falls into the main character's lap, deus ex machina galore, no climaxes, just a long list of sidequests with no payoff. Feels like reading a very readable fetchquest arc, with a variety to be sure, but still a fetchquest. You better start pulling it all together or using everything you've setup so far soon, or this story will remain the most empty 180k words about nothing.

It is time for a one or two chapter finale.

I mean I get the bit about needing to hid the students and stuff and letting them into this more protected part of the school but at the same time it lets more people know about it’s location and how to get in that can easily be relayed to perants and death eaters

This is an absolutely amazing story. I can tell you have gone beyond boundaries with this. The plot, the characters, EVERYTHING about this is extraordinary. I love how detailed your description s are and especially how you are portraying Harry. Please consider continuing this story...if you did we wouldn't have any words to express the joy and gratitude. Also, choosing 'Amicus Protectio Fortis' as the name to this story was very clever. If you need motivation to co tiniest this story, I am right here! We have been waiting and will continue to wait. Kudos to the author and her exceptional writing.

I too, Ravenclaw Kelly Donnelly, wished to know what that meant. So I looked it up on Urban Dictionary and WHOA. I am SHOOK in my new knowledge and the meaning of that phrase.

I hope you update soon (I've read this story several times now in the past couple of months); or at least write a one-shot about the Headmaster and the staff's reaction to the Sorting Hat's song.

I know it's well and gone too late but, as to your request for feedback on pairings, and with the hope that you still read your comments on this story; I must say that, for me at least, there should never be any pairing except for Harmony! Harry and Hermione have way too much magic together to be paired with anyone else.

What a brilliant story. Very well done.

If nothing else, other that a lot of hard work, you could actually turn this into your own world, characters and novel. It would definitely be a lot of work, but if you have put in this much effort for fanfic, just think what you could accomplish for yourself. (Just watch certain words. Allude vs elude, and allusion vs illusion, and the occasional ‘your’ errors. )
