Great chapter! Erin/Trudy is something I'd love to see more of on the show! I can't wait for the last part of this fic!

I get that the writers couldn't have Halstead permanently injured for the sake of the show so I'm glad you decided to write a fic with a plausible AU outcome. This might be potential career-ending permanent SCI for Jay. It will be interesting to see how an all-action ex Army guy like him deal with it.
